+ SCHEDULING POLICY FOR ABRA KADABRA SEW-INS™

It is mandatory that all new clients schedule for a consultation prior to their actual sew in installation appointment. This can be an online conference for out of town clients or an in salon visit with local clients. Based on our experience, this serves a major purpose. The Abra Kadabra Sew In is a scientific process and our technicians must insure that all clients needs are understood and met. Only during this time will Sew In appointments be made which will also be accompanied by a non-refundable deposit of $50 or $100 for the service only depending on the technician that will be servicing you.

+ CANCELLATION POLICY + LATE FEES

There is zero tolerance for no call no shows!

Every client deserves professionalism and undivided attention. Please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your appointment. If you are running late, please let us know (314-395-2664) and we will do our best to accommodate you. There is a possibility that arriving late will limit the time allocated for your service. This can run into the time of the next client’s service.

The Late Fee Policy is as Follows:

15 minute | grace period

16mins - 30mins | $25

31mins - 45mins | $45

Anything after the allotted 15-min grace period, is considered an accommodation service. If your service is over $100, it will result in a 50% fee of your total services cost. If your service is under $100, it will result in 100% fee of your total service cost. We have the right to deny service if we feel the accommodation will jeopardize the harmony of our schedule. If this is the case, it will be considered a cancellation fee"

We understand special circumstances are unavoidable and a cancellation may be necessary. A cancellation of any service requires a 48-hour notice. This allows the waiting list to be addressed so that another client has an opportunity to be seen for a service. Cancellations will result in a fee that is equivalent to your service excluding sew-in installations, retouches and removals (unless there is a severe and reasonable explanation with evidence).

Our staffs time is valuable and so is yours. Please show respect by calling at least 48-hours in advance to cancel or reschedule. If you fail to do this, it will result in a no call no show fee which will be the amount of your sew-in deposit of $50 or $100 depending on your techinician or the cost of your service for all other services under $100. If your services cost is more than $100, the no call no show fee will be $100. This fee will need to be paid prior to receiving your next service or our system will reject any scheduled appointment attempts. Emergencies will be excused with valid evidence.

Depending on the stylist, cancellations outside of the 48-hour timeline may or may not be waved for emergency cases. This is on a case by case basis. And we do not gurantee that the fee will be waved. Thank you for your consideration and understanding.

+ 3-TIER COST-BASED SYSTEM

In order to be fair to clients and staff, we created a tier system based on needs and wants that would help us determine cost for services. We are creating a lot of hair which is taking more product , time and effort. It is unfair for clients to have to pay more when their hair requires less and it is unfair to staff to work triple time and not receive compensation at their monetary value. Below are our 3 TIERS. Please become acquainted.

  • BASIC

    This is the basic level of service. It requires the standard amount of time, product and effort. If your natural hair or extensions are under 10 inches, all services you receive will be considered basic services in regards to your cost. This would also include a 2 bundle and under installation in regards to sew ins and maintenances.

  • SPECIAL

    This is more a of a special level of service. It requires more attention, time, product and effort than the basic level. You would fit into this tier in terms of cost if your natural hair or extensions are 10-20 inches long. In regards to a sew in, if you are receiving more than 2 bundles but less than 4 such as 2 bundles and a closure or 3 bundles total for your installation, your service would be considered special.

  • EXCLUSIVE

    This is more of an exclusive service that requires way more time, effort, product and possibly creativity. You would automatically fit into this tier if your natural hair or extensions are over 20 inches and if you are needing more than 3 bundles of hair installed or maintenanced. This applies to blowouts on natural hair or extensions at the length above as well

IF YOU ARE BOOKING FOR A BRAID SERVICE, YOU MUST SCHEDULE A BRAIDING CONSULTATION AND YOU MUST BE CLEANED AND BLOWDRIED PRIOR TO BRAID SERVICE! IF YOU DO NOT SCHEDULE FOR A BRAID PREP SERVICE SEPARATE FROM YOUR ACTUAL BRAID SERVICE APPOINTMENT, YOU ARE FULLY RESPONSIBLE FOR COMPLETING THIS PRIOR TO SERVICE ON YOUR OWN. BRAID SERVICE CANNOT BE COMPLETED WITHOUT BEING PREPPED AND WE WILL HAVE TO CANCEL APPOINTMENT WITH A CANCELLATION FEE. PLEAE READ CANCELLATION FEE POLICY ABOVE.
